King of the Castle. Bamburgh Castle, the luxury of a private castle in northern England

with 2 Comments

Legend has it that Sir Lancelot once excommunicated from the royal court took refuge in Bamburgh Castle to live, bringing the legendary sword. If I close my eyes and concentrate it seems that I can even feel his presence. Bamburgh Castle is a majestic medieval castle located on the coast of Bamburgh, Northumberland County, north of England. Currently it belongs to a family, the Amstrong, that rents for exclusive events and film shoots.

Decoration Victorian castle houses a lot of paintings of the old masters, furniture S.XV, weapons and armor and an extensive collection of porcelains. Everything in the castle belongs to its current owners, The Amstrong and its past owners. A unique record of past lives and lifestyles.

Their stays have been the scene of numerous films, Macbeth (2015), Elizabeth (1998), Robin of Sherwood (1984) among other…

There has been a lot of life in this castle for thousands of years, and during its turbulent past too much blood. Where there has been death life has been, and death are ghost stories and paranormal activity. Over the years the castle full of concern to many psychics and mystics, including the award-winning documentary paranormal “Most Haunted” directed by Yvette Fielding.

My stay at the Castle during the making of this report has been a mystical and magical experience at a time, so I'll pretend to be Lady Geneva for a day and sit and wait for Lancelot…

Happy day,

Judith Gabarró

(Lady Ginebra)
