ABaC. A dining experience Michelin guide

with 5 Comments

In the kitchen starts the show!! This was my big surprise. It was the first time I went to dinner beforehand through the kitchen. ABaC, the prestigious restaurant run by renowned chef Jordi Cruz, It has a staff of 25 chefs and has been awarded three Michelin stars.

In the kitchen I served the cold appetizers, highly developed and sophisticated as I realized all the ingredients that made up.

Whole menage is an excellent level care. I was told that some of its parts are imported from Vienna, city with an ancient tradition in glass, mainly at the time of the Secession.

The dessert was one of the things that most impressed me for its sophistication and its magnificent presentation, on a wonderful sculpture by artist Jordi Diaz.

As a friend of mine says, it seems that the desserts come from Venus…

The building was designed by architect Antoni de Moragas Catalan, and its design was inspired by Nordic architecture of Alvar Aalto Finnish, especially for the use of wood outdoors, a very characteristic building in the countries of northern Europe.

We are not in Finland, but ABaC allows us the illusion of being in one of their forests that characterize the Finnish landscape.

Happy day,
